Acute IllnessesIf your child becomes ill she may need more intensive care than you can give at home. But you don’t want to go to the hospital if you don’t have to. That’s why Dr. Jackson has many treatments available right in the office. For instance sometimes a child will get dehydrated. With a little fluid they are better. But what if they can keep fluids down? Then what do you do? We have a solution for that. We have intravenous (I.V.) that we can give right in the office. In an hour or two your child is no longer dehydrated. And that can save you a trip -- and the added expense -- of a hospital visit. Or maybe her asthma is acting up and you don’t know what to do. Many times Dr. Jackson and her staff can treat her right in the office with medications that can clear up the asthma. Enough so she can go home safely. These are just some of the things that Dr. Jackson and her staff do to make sure you and your child get the best care possible. |
